As you would expect, child seats come in a whole range of shapes, colours and styles so that all little people’s tastes are catered for!
Normally sold separately to the bike, a child seat can be attached to an adult bike allowing a little person to tag along for the ride.
Although it ultimately depends on the style of the seat, most child seats tend to be placed at the rear of the bike, behind the adult cyclist. This is largely so there is no chance of the child interrupting the cyclist’s vision. A seatbelt buckle, leg restraints and padding keep the child nice and secure, but also mean they can’t get out!
