Under its original guise, French brand Look was established in the early 1950s for the world of skiing.
However, by the 1980s the business had turned also to cycling and was in fact responsible for creating the first automatic pedal, the first carbon frame and the first track single-piece carbon frame – not bad at all given those early days were more about snow than cycling!
Look turned the riding world upside down for all the right reasons when it invented the clip pedal (which in fact was based on the equipment used for ski bindings). The brilliance of Look continues strong into this day, and products such as pedals and cleats remain, but are joined by bikes, frames, and apparel for all disciplines of riding (road, MTB, urban, track and triathlon).
