Colnago Bikes Overview
Ernesto Colnago the founder of Colnago bikes started his professional career as a cyclist, shortly after getting traction in the professional cycling industry Colnago has an accident forcing him to be sidelined. This is when Colnago found his passion for bicycle engineering. After some years as a cycling team mechanic Colnago actualises his dream and creates Colnago Cycles. This bikes where a huge success in Europe seeing many renowned riders such as Eddy Merkx to victory. Ernesto Colnago meets with Enzo Ferarri in the mid 80's the resulting union the the creation of the carbon fiber bike frame. To date Colnago's history is littered with many race wins, still producing custom cutting edge cycles for a range of riding styles.
