Are the Meals Going to be Big Enough?

July 01, 2015

Orica-AIS cyclist Katrin Garfoot has a fear, and it’s not unfounded. In fact, out of all the Orica-AIS cyclists we interviewed, we reckon this fear probably has the most chance of one day becoming a reality… Knock on wood for Katrin!

Don't forget to stay hydrated in winter...

In this quick chat we find out what Katrin’s biggest challenge is as a pro cyclist, what she thinks of being a member of a mostly-Aussie team and the music that keeps her pumped before a race or when she’s training in the gym.

You might be surprised Katrin started cycling on a mountain bike and showed serious ability – so much so that four years later she was part of the Australian National Team. In 2014 Katrin won bronze at the Women’s Time Trial at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
