Back in the day Lizzie ‘Dizzy’ Williams was a bit of a BMX Bandit, her first bike being a BMX Mongoose.
Lizzie had plenty of success on the bike as a junior, but decided to take life in another direction and gave up the bike for the books, becoming a secondary school teacher.

The niggle to race obviously never left her, and she returned to the bike, taking no time at all to get noticed. A two-month offer to race in the US and Canada followed by a scholarship in Europe has led Lizzie to this point – a coveted place with Orica-AIS.

When she’s not racing in the Northern hemisphere, Lizzie loves to head back to Victoria’s Kinglake area, which is her favourite place to take the bike.
