OK so most of us roll up to the Santos Tour Down Under, or watch it from afar via the internet or TV, and really only think of the race at hand.
And that's fair enough - the racing alone has plenty to offer to keep most of us gripped to our screens. But events of this magnitude don't just happen. They certainly don't happen overnight, either. In fact the Tour Down Under team usually needs every day of a full calendar year to prepare for this week+ long event.
We caught up with Operations Manager Gary Beelitz to find out what keeps him busy...
