It is where Pearl Izumi can produce prototypes and pre-production pieces for testing & feedback. This means that any requested changes & revisions can be done quickly, then re-evaluated and refined before final production.
BMC have apparel for individual riders custom produced in the Pearl Izumi Speed Shop, including the Mach 5 Skinsuit worn by Rohan Dennis. On board his BMC Time Machine TM01 and wearing the Mach 5 Skinsuit, Dennis set a new Tour de France Individual Time Trial speed record.
