Check out more bikes in the spotlight here
Calling all mountain goats - the newcomer to Trek's 2015 range is a light-weight climber that just loves the ascents. Having hit the spotlight in the 2014 Tour de France, the Trek Emonda SLR8 is for those who not only love a climb, but are more than keen to finish on the podium as well.
Features include:
700 Series OCLV frame – this is Trek’s ‘top shelf’ when it comes to carbon frames for road bikes. It’s the strongest, lightest carbon lay-up that, according to the good folk at Trek, is built from military grade materials. It’s the cream of the crop!
Cable 11-speed Dura Ace.
RXL wheels – short for Race X Lite, the name pretty much says it all! These wheels are designed light to go fast.
Available in either H1 or H2 geometry; H1 being a slightly lower and more aggressive race fit, and H2 being the set-up for a less intense rider seeking a more comfortable position.
